KNOWhereToGo assigns a number at the point each interstate passes from one region into the next region (a connection). The number is highlighted on a yellow circle shown on all regional maps. Tables are provided in each region [(2a) above] showing the distances between connectors in that region. A separate interstate system connector map is shown on facing pages that includes all connectors. An additional table is provided with key distances (from the regional tables above) that can be added together for distances across several regions. Using the added distances, distance comparisons can be made for different routes. A fuller explanation is provided with the connector map.
